“My husband, Austin, and I were married at BSLC in May 2015, but spent our first year married in Rockford, Illinois. We moved to Lee’s Summit and returned to BSLC in July 2016, when Austin took a job at Honeywell. I worked at UMKC as an Academic Advisor for 3 years before having our first son, Jacob (3), in May 2019. I became a SAHM, and we now have another little boy: Elliott (8mos). Austin serves as an elder, and I am also on the board for the ECMC. We've been a part of Small Group since summer 2021, and we have truly loved it for the strong friendships we've made. We also hope for a community of couples, families, and children that we and our sons can "grow up with" in the church. In our free time, Austin enjoys golfing, while I love to read and cook. We love being with family & friends, exploring new restaurants, going to concerts, and especially--cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones!”
