Chris and Jan have been members of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church since 1998. They have two children, both confirmed at BSLC. Our children are both married and we enjoy spending time with them and our seven grandchildren!! Chris is a former elementary principal, retiring from Lee's Summit R-7 in 2016. He has a part-time painting business. Chris has served in several elected offices as well as on boards at BSLC. Jan is a CPA and has her own practice. She has served on the Board of Directors as well as contracting with BSLC for accounting services for many years. Chris started a small group in 2017 and he and Jan have enjoyed being part of small groups ever since. The opportunity to meet and develop close friendships while studying God’s word is such a blessing for each of us! The initial group split into two groups a couple years ago. We continue to get together with Joe's group for service as well as fellowship once or twice a year.
